Care Notes

Blue Dragon Caridina are best maintained in a mature, fully cycled aquarium with soft, stable water. An active buffering substrate combined with remineralised RO water is commonly used to maintain suitable conditions. Provide mosses, botanicals, wood or other surfaces that encourage biofilm for continuous grazing. Supplement this natural food source with a balanced shrimp diet while avoiding overfeeding. These shrimp can be sensitive to sudden changes in temperature or water chemistry, so gradual acclimation and consistent water changes are important.
